Blueberries and cream

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup whole milk or half-and-half (low-fat milk will also work fine)
  • Honey or pure maple syrup, to taste
  • Coarse-grained sugar and cinnamon, for garnish


For best flavor, make sure blueberries are picked fully ripe and immediately frozen. Place berries in a small dessert bowl. Pour milk over berries. The milk coats each individual berry and freezes as it touches the berries. Drizzle with a bit of honey or syrup. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
