Uncle Charlie's avocado appetizers

  • 4 oz. tiny or bay shrimp, drained and rinsed
    1/2 cup salsa of choice
    1/3 cup diced celery
    1 dash garlic salt
    1 dash hot sauce
    Fresh ground pepper, to taste
    3 medium California Hass avocados


Mix shrimp, salsa, celery and seasonings. Cover and chill for 1 to 2 hours. After filling is chilled, halve and pit avocados (but do not peel). Place on a serving platter. Fill each half with shrimp mixture. Serve immediately with spoon and napkin as a hand-held appetizer.
