1 cup persimmon pulp 1 cup sugar 1 tsp. baking soda ½ cup shortening 1 egg, beaten 2 cups flour 1 cup chopped nuts 1 cup raisins 1 tsp. cinnamon ½ tsp. cloves ½ tsp. nutmeg ½ tsp. salt
Mix persimmon pulp, sugar, baking soda and shortening thoroughly. Add egg, flour, nuts, raisins and spices. Drop onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
